Top 3 Airports With Amazing Architecture

In today's blog post, I wanted to share some amazing architecture found in international airports. When travelling to another country, the airport is always a good place to find some Instagram worthy pictures! In my previous post, I talked about travelling to Japan. Another amazing thing I got from this trip was the architecture in the airport. The images really did resemble what I saw in real life! I had to include 2 of the airports I have been to as they are really worth sharing!

Top 3 Airport Architecture
1. Madrid Airport
The yellow offers a much more welcoming environment to arrivals rather than the usual white and black. The roof was also designed to combat Madrid's hot weather.

2. Kansai Airport
The structure was designed to resist Japan's frequent earthquakes. Kansai airport was the longest terminal in the world at the time it was built. When I arrived, my thoughts on the design was airport was simple yet really beautiful. This airport was clean and filled with tourists hustling around.

3. Beijing Airport
Opened just in time for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, by architects by Foster + Partners, the colour scheme of traditional colours; red and yellow were used to symbolise traditional Chinese culture. The airport was also designed in a dragon-like form to celebrate Chinese history. I came across this airport back in 2010 to visit major historic sites such as the Great Wall of China. The airport was really spacious and large. I hope to re-visit again one day!
