The Centre Point Tower (otherwise known as the Sydney Tower or the AMP Tower) is the second tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere. Standing at 309m (approx equivalent to 1014 ft) this beauty is Sydney's tallest structure!

The World Federation of Great Towers is an international association of the greatest monuments around the world, including the extravagant Eiffel Tower in Paris and the monumental Skylon Tower that overlooks the Niagara Falls! Our amazing Sydney Tower is a member of this breathtaking group and is well known for its for its Observation Deck and three floors of restaurants!

Throwing this blog back to back to the 1900's, the construction for this monument began in 1968 and was open to the public only 13 years later, in 1981. Many refurbishments have been made to this building and know this 'golden turret' has a maximum capacity of almost 1500 people.

Also, they've constructed a breathtaking skywalk, an open-air glass-floored platform that encircles the tower at a height of almost 268m! A must see attraction!!!

Stay tuned in for tomorrow's post!!!
